22-year-old man arrested at the airport, worth $2.9 million
On June 28, 2025, the Atlanta Police Department revealed that Hatfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport was arrested.
A Facebook article by the police department showed they arrested a man from Brazil who was worth $2.97 million.
On June 28, 2025, Atlanta Airport Customs and Border Protection were used in conjunction with the Atlanta Police Department to fly from a man to Atlanta Airport in Sao Paulo, Brazil. LBS.
The Facebook post also showed a video of police finding narcotics in their suitcases, with several packages removed and placed in another bag.
Vance Ray Randolph, 22, was then sent to jail and charged with marijuana trafficking before being released in the United States according to USA Today.
He attempted to go to Sao Paulo, Brazil before the officer found drugs in his luggage.
Although marijuana is legal in various states of the United States, because of the amount he found, Randolph may also face other charges once the case goes to court.
