That’s probably why we chose three war-centric horror movies we should watch in June 2025.
Two of these flicks are not far from the standard movies of World War II, while the middle talent envisions another kind of world war that can take everyone’s lives no matter how far they go. This is a summer full of fear usbut in this case, it’s a good thing.
“Overlord” (2018)

There seems to be endless World War II movies, but Overlord Going in some wild new directions by injecting horror into the story. On a mission behind the enemy line, an American war plane was shot down. The only survivor is Edward Boyce (Jovan Adepo), Lewis Ford (Wyatt Russell), Lyle Tibbet (John Magaro), Morton Chase (Iain de Caestecker) and Jacob Rosenfeld (Dominic Apple White).
After asylum with a sympathetic local woman, Chloe Laurent (Chloe Laurent) (Mathilde Ollivier), American soldiers learn about the secret Nazi experiments of the rest of her village. The Nazis have proposed a serum that can transform anyone into a monster of superhuman power. Although these people are on the important task of invading Normandy for the end of the world, closing these experiments is still a priority…even if it kills them.

World War Z Featured are some of the fastest zombies we’ve ever seen in the movie, which is why they’re even more horrible than usual. Brad Pitt The star plays former state investigator Gerry Lane, whose outbreak of zombie outbreaks almost takes away his life and his family. Not long after, the security of the Gerry family was used to blackmail him in search of the origin of the zombie virus.
In theory, discovering sources may allow scientists to come up with ways to heal zombies. However, finding these answers is not easy, especially since zombies are everywhere, and any wrong decisions can lead Gerry’s mission to terminal ahead of time.

“Shadows in the Cloud” (2020)

Shadows in the clouds feature Chloë Grace Moretz Maude Garrett, a RAF pilot during World War II. In 1943, Maude embarked on a secret mission with the crew of the US B-17 bomber, and almost everyone tried their best to make her feel unwelcome. While traveling in the ball turret, Maude sees two threats to the plane: Japanese fighters and some kind of winged Grimlin.
However, Maude tried to warn the crew that was largely deaf. They simply don’t take Maud seriously, which can be a fatal mistake for everyone involved. Maude has her secret, but she is also the only one who realizes that the plane may never reach its final destination.
