Rafael Jodar will join compatriot Martin Landaluce at the Next Generation ATP Finals hosted by the PIF in December, with venues now ready for the 20 and under event.
The 19-year-old was a batting partner in Jeddah last year but will be out this season after a breakthrough season. The Spaniard, ranked 167th in the PIF ATP Rankings, has surged towards the end of the season to earn his spot in Jeddah.

Jordahl failed to crack the top 900 in March but won three ATP Challenger titles from August to November. His first success came in Greece, then he lifted two trophies in the United States. He is the third Spanish teenager to win at least three Challenger titles, following 24-time Tour winner Carlos Alcaraz and former ninth-place finisher Nicolas Almagro.
Jordahl’s tennis career began at the age of six and became intertwined with his close friend and fellow rising star Randa Luz. Both grew up in Madrid and trained at the same tennis club, Chamartin Tennis Club. Off the pitch, the 19-year-old is a Real Madrid fan.
The Next Generation ATP Finals 2025, hosted by PIF, will be held in Jeddah from December 17 to 21 and will feature Jakub Mensik, Learner Tien, Alexander Blockx, Dino Prizmic, Martin Landaluce, Nicolai Budkov Kjaer, Nishesh Basavareddy and Jodar. Former champions include Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz.
