5.6 Earthquake hits Los Angeles Alliance in Lausanne

According to the Philippine Institute of Volcanoology and Seismology (Phivolcs), a 5.6 earthquake struck the United Province of Los Angeles in Lubon on Friday morning, feeling in more than a dozen areas of Luzon.
Phivolcs reported in the announcement that the earthquake occurred at 3:52 a.m., with its epicenter located 61 kilometers northwest of La Union, with a depth of 10 kilometers.
It said tremors were felt in many areas across Luzon.
The earthquake registered III in Bolinao and Bani in Pangasinan; Sit and Vigan, Ilokossur; and Bontoc, and the mountain province.
Strength II was recorded in the city of Laos in North Iloks. Candon and Narvacan, Ilocos Sur; Bangal, Los Angeles United; Dagapen City; and Urdaneta and Lingayen, Pangasinan.
Meanwhile, intensity I was observed in Dinalupihan and Orani, Bataan; Baguio; Obando and Calumpit, Bulacan; Claveria, Cagayan; St. Nicholas, North Ilocos; Tagudin, Ilocos Sur; Malabang; Guagua, Pampanga; Umingan and Sison, Pangasinan; Ramos and Bamban, Tarlac; and Subak, iba, Masinloc, San Marcelino and Cabangan, Zambales.
Phivolcs said the earthquake is not expected to cause damage, but aftershocks may occur. – EDG Adrian A. Eva
