GoGolook emphasizes the role of AI in cybersecurity in AI Gen Summit 2025

Gogolook, the world’s leading TrustTech company, has joined AI Gen Summit 2025 to highlight the important role of artificial intelligence (AI) in strengthening the country’s cybersecurity framework.

“Cybersecurity is another key area that is essential for AI,” said Meligriño, head of the Philippines Gogolook Country, in a theme of “AI: AI: Roundtable Discussion on Enhancement of Power in Women’s Leaders in Technology.”

Ms Migriño explained that as cyber attacks, scams, frauds, disinformation and deep strikes become increasingly complex, traditional security tools are not enough.

The head of Gogolook Country notes that AI can analyze network traffic in real time, detect abnormalities that may indicate violations, and automatically respond to threats – a relentless and vigilant defender of digital infrastructure.

AI Gen Summit 2025 focuses on how AI reshapes corporate transformation, national security and economic development.

It also highlighted the government’s positioning of the country as a regional AI hub by integrating technology into governance, public services and business units into the national AI strategic roadmap.

Ms. Migriño, founder and chairman of the Philippines Institute of Chief Information Officers (PCIOA), a national association of technology leaders for review, stressed that advances in AI must be closely related to responsible development.

In addition to Ms. Migriño, the discussion included Wence Wenceslao, a senior global digital leader in beauty and well-being in Unilever; Arlene Romasa, Director and CIO of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR); Suzy Lee, Director of Data and Analytics at JG Summit Holdings Inc.; and hosted by Wanda Pascua, Head of Marketing at Tonik Bank, who shared insights on the impact of AI in various departments and the importance of its technology.

Ms. Migino also delivered a powerful closing speech on the second day of the AI Summit. “When we embrace the transformative power of AI, we also have to face the ethical challenges it raises. These are not only technical issues, but fundamental issues about the future we want to create,” Ms Migriño said. “The choices we make today will determine whether AI is a beneficial force or the source of new problems and inequality.”

“The future is not what happens to us; it is something we create. Let’s make sure that artificial intelligence serves humanity, not the other way around,” Ms. Migriño concluded.
