Phil Robertson’s Last Days and Family Update

Duck Dynasty Fans are mourning the loss of the show’s patriarch, Phil RobertsonHe died on Sunday, May 25, at the age of 79 after fighting Alzheimer’s disease.
Phil’s death was confirmed by his children Willie53, and Jase55, Sunday. “My father went to be with the Lord today! He will miss him, but we know he is in control of the good people, our family is good because God is good! We will see him again!” Jase wrote through X.
Willie and his wife in a statement, koriesaid: “Today we celebrate our father, husband and grandfather Phil Robertson now with the Lord.”
The statement continues: “Thank you for your love and prayer and your prayer, whose lives have been influenced by his life, grace, his bold faith saved his life, and who he longs to tell everyone that he is willing to listen to the good news of Jesus. We are grateful for His life on earth and will continue to be the legacy of love and love for God until we see Him again.”
Meanwhile, Willy and Corey’s daughter, SadieAt the age of 27, paying tribute to grandfather via Instagram. “When I sat with Papaw Phil today, I thought of this verse… He has experienced this sentence on Earth – from the power of Christ to living to living!” Sadie wrote along with a series of photos of her and Phil. “It is his testimony that changed his life, our family [sic] There are thousands of people in life. Now, he is fulfilling. Totally live in Christ. New is here. The last thing he said to me was “The power of the future!” Amen! ”
Jase revealed for the first time in the reality TV family’s “The No Shame with the Robertson Family” in December 2024 that Phil was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s.

Willie added family patriarch Miss Kaiis also fighting similar diseases. “Mom shows the same symptoms of Alzheimer’s or dementia. It’s just a part of life – Mom has her good time,” he said.
A day ago, in the episode of “No Shame” on Monday, May 19, Phil and Kai’s eldest son, al60, the latest news for his father. Even in the last few weeks, Al said Phil remained unwavering.
“I would pray for dad from time to time, and he would usually pat me in my hand and say, ‘You did a great job. You did a great job,'” Al said. “It’s interesting that even if our minds are broken, our bodies, including our minds, the Holy Spirit of God still lives in you.”
“In the case of the father, by dealing with what he is facing, through the Holy Spirit, those moments of prayer, even if his mind is broken, he knows something about a certain spiritual connection,” Al continued.

What did Phil Robertson’s family say about Alzheimer’s diagnosis
Jase first announced his father’s Alzheimer’s diagnosis on the December 2024 “No Shame” podcast.
“According to the doctors, they determined that he had some kind of blood disease that would cause all kinds of problems,” Jesse said at the time. “It was accelerated and it caused problems with his entire body.”
Jase added that it was difficult to diagnose his father’s mentally and physically, sharing: “He just didn’t do well. He was really struggling.”
“He kept saying, ‘I’m going back to the podcast,’ “But I’m thinking, ‘Okay, Phil, you can hardly walk around without yelling, and your memory isn’t what it used to be. “He was like, “Tell me.” “So, he can’t actually – I think he’ll agree – just sit down and have a conversation.”
In April, Jase shared another update on his father’s health through the family’s podcast. “Tell you the truth, it’s not good.” “I’m just giving straightforward truth. I’ll say, ‘Not good.'”
“We’re doing our best,” Jase added. “So I think that’s exactly what you do.”
