Neenah Foundry fire, crew members respond positively to the scene
Ninena, Wisconsin (WFRV) – The fire at the Ninena Foundry remains a positive situation with on-site staff responding.
The initial photo shows a lot of black smoke and the flames of the building.
Neenah-Menasha Fire Rescue told Local 5 that the initial call and dispatch was around 8:38 pm on Thursday, May 29, and requested the use of the Common Assistance Box Alert System (MABAS); however, officials were unable to provide more details.

The Winnibago County Sheriff’s Office also confirmed the fire, but could not provide more information.
As of 10:02 pm, Local 5 has not spoken to any firefighters on the scene because of the active scene. Water was still spraying on the scene as staff tried to remove the flames and smoke.
Local 5 news will appear from nearby sites and will be updated as needed.
