Hi, my name is Alexa, and during every month when Donald Trump was president, I was tracking the real numbers he made in his administration on Buzzfeed.
(aka, unemployment rate, egg cost, gasoline price, inflation, Dow Jones, whether citizens have accepted stimulus checks and Trump’s overall approval rate.)
Why do I do this? Because Trump and his campaign are positioned as “economic votes” and perhaps largely won the title, the title seems ironic
…The price is significantly higher.
All of this, Trump is called a “transition period” when how his tariffs hurt Americans financially is far from the call for his initial campaign promise, which “starts lower prices immediately from day one.”

So, without further ado, this is what Trump did in April:
Note: Inflation data is released a few weeks after the end of each month, so our report will look at the figures from last month.

Unemployment rate has been sneaky under the Trump administration. When everyone is busy arguing about tariffs and rising cost of living, what is missing is a bigger conversation about unemployment. Maybe we’re all desensitized after the Volkswagen government layoffs earlier this year.
Anyway, the unemployment rate in April was 4.2% higher, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics.

As a professional Doom I found laughter in strange places, including Clip “You can have all the eggs you want. We have so many eggs. In fact, if there are, the prices are getting lower and lower.”
If you’ve been to any grocery store, you’ll know that eggs are still more expensive than before. Gone are the days of $2.99 12 egg cartons. Instead, the average cart is $5.12 per egg per egg.

So far, gasoline has not changed much during Trump’s presidency. On average, it continues to lag behind $3.20 at $3.20, with a speed of about $3.299 per gallon this month, according to the U.S. Energy Information Administration.

Hey! Some good news! Inflation has fallen for the third consecutive month. CNBC reported inflation of 2.3% in April (but you may not feel it because the tariff surcharges bring extra fees to your regular shopping).

Yes. Yes. Yes. In early April, data showed that Trump’s stock market had a The worst Since 1950, any president has begun as any president.
Markets have become so volatile after Trump’s “liberation day” and tariff policies that Wikipedia now has a formal 2025 stock market crash page.
So it’s no surprise that Dow Jones fell again in April – this time it’s 2.9%.

Trump’s first 100 days have passed, and there is still no excitement.
However, it is reported that the Trump administration is considering providing Americans with $5,000 in baby bonuses to help increase birth rates in the United States. It’s about $277.78 per year! I’m sure this will help cover the rising costs of parenting, food, rent, college, extracurricular healthcare, and everything else that comes with raising a child. *Sarcastic overload*

Finally, we got Trump’s approval rate. In April alone, Gallup placed his rating at 44%. but! According to the Pew Research Center, if you want to look at his first 100-day approval rate in the office, that number drops to 40%.
Either way, more than half of the country are not satisfied.
These are our April statistics. Now, let’s take a look at the comments I’ve received in the small section I want to call ✨commentcorner✨.

When you all give me a task, I love it.
Biden ended his last month in December as president, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, where 100% of ground beef cost an average of $5.58 per pound in the U.S.

January 2025: $5.50 per pound
February 2025: $5.74 per pound
March 2025: $5.85 per pound
April 2025: $6.00 per pound

Hello! You have to be a newbie here. The purpose of the report is to Trump’s entire second presidency from day one. I didn’t expect that a country’s entire economy could be perfected in a few months.
According to leading economists, I haven’t believed that a few months are that Trump only needs to bring the United States “very high” risk of recession.
The recession hurts us all. Even though my retirement age is over, I am far from dizzy. This is an increasingly common experience that I hope future generations can avoid. But we are not moving in this direction.
