A high-level delegation from the United States and China met in London on Monday to try to create a fragile truce in the trade dispute, which fueled the global economy.

Lifefeng will hold talks with U.S. Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick, Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent and Trade Representative Jamieson Greer.

The talks expected to last at least one day follow talks in Geneva last month, which brought a temporary respite in the trade war.

The two countries announced on May 12 that they agreed to suspend most of the most tariffs in the escalating trade war, sparking concerns about the recession.
