The Mumbai-based car driver lost Rs 8 lakh a month after his pandemic. This is the reason

After Viral, an automatic city driver in Mumbai recently made headlines without operating a car because he made money and has now lost his income. He earns 50,000 to 80,000 rupees per month. Lenskart’s product leader Rahul Rupani shared his story on LinkedIn. People celebrate this story as a success story, but now all the income of that car driver has stopped and now he is running his own house by driving a car.

Why did his income stop?

Police were shocked when they learned the huge income of the driver of the car. When conducting the investigation, it was found that the business model that was talking about revenue was followed not only by one, but also by about 12 automotive drivers. These people keep their luggage without any permit and making money. BKC Police Department officials said the embassy is a very sensitive place. In this case, it is not safe to put the bag there without checking. Police have stopped the work of car drivers and warned them not to do such work again.

What is this car driver used for?

Rupani shared his interesting story on LinkedIn, which was a hit on social media.

Rupani wrote: “The car driver is priced at Rs 50-80 crore per month. He didn’t even drive.
No application.
No funds.
No technology.
Just stop at the right place at the right time. Every day. ”

He further described, saying, “I appointed my date outside the U.S. this week, and when security told me that I couldn’t carry my luggage inside. There was no locker. No advice. Just: “Find it out.” ”

As I stood on the sidewalk, a car driver waved at me:

“Sir, Bag de.

I hesitated. Then surrender.
That was when I found this guy’s business great.

He once did the following:

– Park his car outside the consulate.
– Each customer provides luggage storage service of Rs 1,000.
– Receive 20-30 customers per day.
– Rs 20k per day 30k per day, or Rs 50k to 80k per month!

Cooperation with local police

Since he couldn’t legally keep 30 bags in his car, he worked with a local police officer who owns a small locker room nearby. Go there with the bag.
Legal. Safe. Zero trouble.
Automatic just acts as a conversion funnel.

Although most people are sweating for US visa interviews, this guy is doing zero-mile, great value, bootstrapping.

No MBA, no entrepreneurship
No MBA. No java is started. Just the right thing for the pure hustle and bustle and street smart product market.

As a product leader (and 2x founder), I have worked in large systems and scaling OPS. But this is a master class:
– Solve a super specific pain point
– Build trust without technology
– Manufacturing legal moats through police-operated lockers
– Rs 1,000 for immediate peace of mind

It’s the kind of hustle and bustle you haven’t read in business books, but I hope you think about it first.

True entrepreneurship doesn’t always require selling decks. Sometimes it only requires one parking space.
