If you have to watch 1 Netflix show in June 2025, stream it now

Netflix has long been a treasure trove of TV series, but with so much content, it’s hard to choose your favorite orgy. That’s why the monthly watches come with our team to suggest performances you shouldn’t skip. In June this year, I shared a personal story about why this show is so difficult for me.
When the pandemic first closed everything in March 2020, my parents and I stayed at home. Since my dad inspired a shared fever of 103 and there was little information about the virus, my mother and I were bad news, staying away from panic attacks. Hope to relax, we turn to Netflix and play One day at a time.
From the first note of the theme song, Gloria Estefanwe know we are doing something great. The lively sitcom is the reboot of the 1975 series of the same name – our nighttime ceremony. No matter what pressure the day brings, we will emit an episode – every time, we will dance in the living room, theme song. We sing and dancing, we laugh so hard that we couldn’t help feeling better.
But the theme song is not the only thing I like One day at a time. That’s why you should make it into a Netflix binge for June.
Prerequisite today is as fresh as in 1975

original One day at a timedeveloped by legendary sitcom producer Norman Leara single mother who recently divorced raised two teenage girls, which is a very progressive concept. Restart based on this idea, centered on Cuban American family, and reimagine single mothers as Penelope Alvarez (Justina Machado), a veteran and nurse, raises children with her own Cook mother Lydia (unparalleled Rita Moreno).
The Alvarez family solved such as sexual behavior (the oldest child, Elena, by Isabella Gomez, Is a lesbian), PTSD (Penelope has had nightmares in Afghanistan, taking antidepressants), guns, etc. While the series occasionally turns to preaching territory, its depiction is always clever and subtle, on complex issues.
Rita Moreno is amazing

When Lydia, Rita Moreno stopped performing every time on screen. Maybe it’s because whenever she walks into a room she literally goes into a grand entrance, but it’s also because she’s a truly adorable character.
The actress who won Egot was fun in comedy moments and emotional in serious moments. She is both an interesting presence and a hopeful, dreamy and rude character. She is the grandmother we all deserve.
This is the perfect blend of the old and new

Multi-camera sitcoms – a series of films shot in front of live studio audiences – are almost entirely from television, but they were once one of the most popular genres on radio and television. Friends,,,,, cheers,,,,, Jefferson So many stories (real “situation comedy”) will be resolved in about 23 minutes (excluding ads).
One day at a time It feels like a callback to a simpler era, but its use of modern perspectives and issues is an ideal way to enhance the multi-camera genre. Comedy relies on witty singles, farce body comedy and creepy misunderstandings, and it’s easy to sit down and laugh at the antics of a great actor. But the show only feels old-fashioned in its most likable sense. It’s an instant classic and it feels like you’re watching it all the time.

One day at a time Rotten Tomatoes scored as high as 99%. It was universally loved and well-received, but only ran three seasons on Netflix. (Season 4 runs on popular TV, unfortunately the Covid-19 pandemic.) We can all agree that the show is too early, but at least like many long-running sitcoms, it never gotten off quality and over time it has dropped!
Basically, look One day at a time It’s about to love it – but not enough people know the joy of life with the Alvarez gang. Watch seasons 1-3 in June this year One day at a time On Netflix. (Episode 7 Season 4 is not streaming anywhere yet, but if you are a true devotee, you can buy it on Apple TV+.)
