Doge has access to sensitive Ministry of Labor data about immigration and farm workers

Doge access to DOL also contains data, although data that is not directly related to the data can be used in conjunction with the data. Wired confirmed that Collins, Moghaddassi and Elez all have access to DOL's Re-entry Job Opportunity (REO) program. DOL's program provides funds for incarcerated people and supports job training and other employment services.

Although the REO database is not for immigrants, the REO's data can be cross-referenced with other data sets to find out the immigration status of people who have previously been incarcerated from the program. If Doge finds crossover, this “will fit very well with their news that immigrants are criminals and abuse of government services.” (Although the Trump administration calls, there is no evidence of the threat of immigrants to “national security” and “public safety” or their abuse of government services — in fact, research shows that immigration crime is less likely than people born in the United States.

Moghaddassi, Elez and Collins did not respond to requests for comment. The Ministry of Labor does not.

Doge agents from Moghaddassi and Elez at other federal agencies also appeared and established contact with Musk.

Moghaddassi has worked for many Musk companies, including X, Tesla and Neuralink; he is also associated with the Treasury and the Department of Homeland Security, according to previous Wired reports tracking Doge operators.

Elez is a 25-year-old engineer who worked for Musk's X and SpaceX and also appeared in the Treasury and Social Security Bureau. In the Treasury report, WIRED reported that Elez both read and write access to the sensitive financial system. Elez resigned briefly after the Wall Street Journal discovered racist comments posted by accounts related to him. After Musk and Vice President Judd Vance defended him on X, Elez returned to the Governor.

According to Politico, Elez is also composed of staff at the Department of Homeland Security, which is the government’s efforts to bring together data from many government agencies to simplify and systematic DHS enforcement and deportation. Although Elez initially resigned from the Governor, he seemed to be tasked with a number of unusually sensitive tasks: He was also part of the Doge team, who worked on a system to sell what Trump calls the “gold medal.”

Elez joined the team with young Edward Coristine, the young Doge operating room called the “Big Ball.” Sources told Wired that Corristin also has many institutions in many, recently appeared in the Department of Labor.

Coristine is another key Doge staff growing in DHS. He also appears in the Office of Personnel Management, the U.S. Agency for International Development, the Department of Education, the General Services Administration and the Small Business Administration.

Coristine did not respond to a request for comment.

“It’s a government that would be happy to follow people with legal status if it doesn’t like other things about them,” said Victoria Noble, an employee attorney for the Electronic Border Foundation. “It’s just a source of information that can make this administration target people who are legal here, but target them for deportation or other more advanced investigations.”
