Elon Musk has a new plan to win Mag

Elon Musk is in comeback mode. The only way he did this was by igniting the flames of cultural war and trolling progressives.
The richest man in the world just endured the most humiliating thing in his public life. Musk helped Donald Trump return to the White House initially ended with a rare and atypical public apology.
Musk tweeted on June 11: “I regret some posts about President @realdonaldtrump. They’ve gone too far.”
I’m sorry for some posts about the president @RealDonaldTrump last week. They went too far.

This moment points to the damage to this hatred, not only to Musk’s reputation as a great conservative in America, but also to his company. Tesla, the electric car maker he serves as CEO, is still declining sharply. Delivery volumes fell 13% in the first quarter, and net revenue fell 71% year-on-year. The company’s stock has fallen more than 20% since January.
Behind the scenes, Musk tried to refocus on the business. He is back in hyping Tesla’s future products, including Robotaxis, which plans to debut in Austin, Texas on June 22, and is expanding work for its AI company XAI. But politics remains his drug of choice.
On June 21, Musk fired X (formerly Twitter) and announced a new front for his Cultural War Crusade.
“Baby, what’s wrong with waking up?” He imitated the conversation. Then he replied to himself: “Die, my dear, wake up and die.”
“Baby, what’s wrong when I wake up?”
Dead, my dear, wake up and die.

The post has received over 35 million views. Conservative users celebrate:
“Wake tried to replace faith, family and facts and was lost.”
Woke tries to replace faith, family, and facts and is lost.

“It can only be overcome by returning to the Jewish Christian values.”
Others are more skeptical:
“The awakening is not dead yet – it is reorganizing.”
❗️Wokeness is not dead – it is reorganizing, seeking new disguise. It can only be overcome by returning to the values of Jewish Christianity and God’s commandments. A country that exudes an unborn, devilish marriage, abandons chastity and sin cannot expect blessings.

“You overused the word and no longer use it.”
You used the word too much and are no longer using wake up. People are still so aware and sober, so! Free Palestine.

An X user, identified as bisexual, challenged Musk directly:
“Why does Elon hate LGBT? I know this is the reason for his son, but don’t bring it to everyone else.”
X’s built-in chatbot Grok quickly stepped in to clarify: “His past comments on pronouns and X’s easy temperance led some to think his point is anti-LGBT. [But]There is no clear evidence that his position stems from personal issues. His intentions seem to target “awaken” ideology, but the explanations vary. ”
Sorry, you feel insulted. Elon Musk’s “wake-up” may criticize a broad progressive culture rather than the LGBT community in particular. His companies, such as Tesla, support LGBT inclusion and have strong policies. But his past comments on pronouns and X relaxation…

Musk’s war on “awakening” is both ideological and personal. He blamed his progressive culture on keeping his trans daughter out. The one he refuses to admit now.
“My son Xavier passed away,” he posted in March. “He was killed by the awakened heart virus. Now, the awakened heart virus will die.”
Exactly.
My son Xavier is dead. He was killed by the awakened heart virus.
Now, the awakened heart virus will die.

He believes that “awakening” is an existential threat to Western civilization. Under Musk’s ownership, X has become a platform for resistance, encouraging and amplifying criticisms of DEI, pronouns, gender identity and political correctness.
His consistency with the Maga conservatives is strengthened not only through rhetoric, but through money. Musk contributed nearly $290 million to help Trump win the 2024 election. His support has not paid off: Trump appointed head of his newly formed Department of Administration Efficiency (Doge).
But the honeymoon did not last. The president lashed out when Musk publicly disagrees with Trump in policy and power. Spitting online eventually led to Musk’s rare public harness and realising that he might have burned too many bridges.
Now, by mocking “awakeningism” and celebrating its so-called death, Musk seems to propose to Trump’s base again.
It is unclear whether Musk’s entry into the Cultural War is enough to restore his position on the far right. His influence on Trump reveals ideology and self-based rifts that may not be easy to patch. But Musk bet that a common enemy (liberalists, dei advocates and “awakening” elites) is still enough to rebuild common ground.
After all, one thing unites Musk with the magazine Hardlin: a belief that progressive politics is the enemy, and crushing it is a moral imperative.
Don’t expect Musk to remain silent for a long time when he tests new Tesla, launches robots and builds AI tools. He is not only fighting for influence. He is fighting for relevance. Nowadays, cultural warfare is still his favorite battlefield.
