The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s department revised and deleted Sunday’s social media posts, where it offered condolences to the “tragic” U.S. bombing on Iran’s nuclear ruins.
“Our hearts to victims and victims’ families have been affected by the recent explosion in Iran,” the post on X said. “Although this tragic incident took place overseas, the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department is closely monitoring the situation of our local, state and federal partners.”
The department eventually revised the post, and the post deleted sentences about the US strike and then removed it entirely from X. It is not clear whether anyone was injured or killed during the operation.
A Sheriff’s Department spokesman told Fox News Numbers that he was not aware of the initial condolence post.
