“Adult” Comment: Not Just Z Gen’s ‘Friends’

Created by Rebecca Shaw and Ben Kronengold, the series includes many staples of their beloved sitcom ex, which is played by a close-knit ensemble (played by an incredible ensemble of Malik Elassal, Malik Elassal, Lucy Freyer, Owen Thiele, Amita Rao and Jack Innanen, all from romance within a group of friends. But its modern environment also enables it to explore the current aspects of adulthood, especially the role technology plays in the life of the character. “It’s kind of like us to be honest,” Crongod said. “I think in the dream we dream about, the generation we do for the show, they seem to have, and seem to have resonance that we ask for.”

“We were very moved by that,” Shaw added. “I also think that to my surprise, fans are back and not only tweeted or talked about the show on Twitter, but also created editors and fan fiction for fans.”
