Prior to Prime Day 2025, the list of Roombas for sale on Amazon looks very different from the list of room bags sold on Amazon’s large spring sale in March. This is a very, very good thing.
That’s because Amazon Prime Day 2025 is the first big sale event for most New Roombas that debuted in March (they are too new to get any real discounts during Amazon’s spring sale). These 2025 Roombas are different from any roommate we’ve ever met before.
The underrated robot vacuum cleaner in 2025 is also a rod vacuum cleaner
Irobot finally read the room and saw other top robot vacuums like Shark and Roborock with better features. The latest Roomba vacuum cleaner is the company’s most realistic price and feature in several years. The most affordable base model can eventually clean the specific room when ordered, not just bumps. Multiple new premium room bags switch to rotating mops, these mats wash themselves and dry – No Cost $1,000.

Newly discovered cost efficiency makes old Irobot models (such as Roomba I3 or Roomba Essential Y0140 worthless). Amazon basically ignored their presence in the weeks leading up to Golden Day, and instead shaved off 30% to 54% off for the first time. Why we like it
Until the latest round of indoor rooms that debuted in spring 2025, I often actively advise against using Roomba as your budget-friendly robot vacuum cleaner. Older entry-level room bags, such as the Roomba 694 and Essential range, don’t even have a sensible mapping, and entry-level shark robot vacuums are indeed lower than cheaper Roombas. However, after testing the new Base-Tier Roomba 105, I can finally put Irobot’s efforts into practice. The Roomba 104 combination introduced here is almost the same as the 105, but also the same as the mop.

The Roomba 104’s 7,000 PA suction power not only destroys the cheap Roomba vacuum absorption capabilities of the past, such as the Roomba i5, but is actually a number with a high price range. During my apartment testing, these 105 barely missed any kitten litter, random debris or surface-level hair or fur balls. It sweeps along the edges and bends much closer than other basic room bags. With this improved cleaning combined with the self-dock, it’s the most comprehensive Roomba ever, falling below $250.
