Stocks tracked today (July 14): Hcltech, Tata Tech, Persistent, Sula Vineyards, Wockhardt, Rites, etc.

The domestic stock benchmark fell more than 1.0% last week as investors began a new earnings season around the trade war, hoping to reach a favorable India-U.S. deal. The Nifty 50 index fell 311.2 points, or 1.2%, to settle on Friday at 25,149.9.

TCS began the earnings season with a light note on Thursday, attracting different reactions from brokers. Its net profit rose 6.0% year-on-year, with the Tata Group giant announcing a dividend of 11 rupees per share. It is worse than expected quarterly revenue, which raises concerns about the future demand for the country’s IT space. CLSA maintained its “cumulative” rating on TCS, but its target price was reduced by Rs 48 to Rs 4,279, while UBS maintained a “buy” call with a target of Rs 3,950. Citi retained the “sell” while reducing its target price from Rs 3,220 to Rs 3,135.
