HP launches AI Tech for hybrid work

HPA global technology company, on Friday, launched a suite of artificial intelligence (AI) solutions that promise to provide user-friendly and efficient tools to help more Filipino employees, especially those in a hybrid setup, adapt easily.
AI-powered personal computers (PCs) and laptops are one of the key highlights during the HP Day 2025 event. These devices are optimized for increased performance and longer battery life, equipped with Edge AI Features developed through a dedicated Neural Processing Unit (NPU) in collaboration with world-leading chip manufacturers Intel and AMD.
“The main goal is to truly optimize [HP PC] “Performance, improve collaboration tools and improve battery life,” said Ida Evina Ong-Co, managing director of Philippine HP, in an interview.
“It will be more applicable, more friendly and more focused on emphasizing and enhancing the user experience,” she added.
Ms. Co said that more and more work applications, such as Zoom, Adobe and Windows programs, will be more optimized to make them suitable for hybrid work settings.
For better video conferencing output, HP also mocks its versatile device that includes AI-powered features such as automatic frameworks and noise suppression rather than video conferencing applications that rely solely on these enhanced features.
Qualified HP devices will also soon bring a built-in AI assistant called HP AI Companion. It is designed to work seamlessly in devices, giving users direct access to their computer libraries and avoiding switching between separate AI applications. – EDG Adrian A. Eva
