Israeli security forces arrested the terrorist cell in Bethlehem overnight, which was planned to attack, the IDF and Shin BET (Israel Security Agency) said in a joint statement on Monday.
The target operation was conducted by IDF, Israeli Border Police and the Etzion Regional Brigade Department.
During the operation throughout the West Bank, officers and soldiers detained 16 suspects for the suspects and seized weapons and funds for terrorist-related purposes.
Seven suspects were arrested in the village of Halhoul, Sir and Beit Sahur within the Etzion department.
In the Yehuda brigade area, four suspects were detained. The troops have also confiscated a pistol, which is said to be used for funds for terrorist activities.

IDF runs in Tulkarm area
The action of the Ephraim Brigade led to the arrest of three suspects in the villages of Shuweika, Kafr Ad-Dik and Izbat Shufa in the Turkam area. In the Menash Brigade area, two other suspects were arrested.
All detainees and confiscated items were transferred to the authorities for further processing.
