Steam is testing a redesigned storefront, which makes it easier for you to find games you like

It seems like we need more ways to develop the steam library through games, and we will never finish or even play the game. Now, Steam is trying to redesign the storefront menu as part of its latest beta update to help sell more games. Steam’s store page remodel combines everything into a more polished and organized menu on the top, rather than being overwhelmed by text links and messy menu buttons in the current version.
Steam said in its blog post that the redesign should “provide easier places for the most frequently visited Steam users.” At the top, the new browsing feature allows you to mine games based on options like sellers, new versions, or discounts. Next to browse, the Suggestions button allows you to explore your favorite steam ideas based on other games in the library, game time and even community recommendations. For a more tailored feel, the category menu button will look at the top genres for you and provide some suggested tags to find similar games.
Steam has also modified the store’s search capabilities to show the most popular searches, games you’ve watched recently and top genres. There is even a button for advanced searches for users who want to sort games through specific filters and tags. None of these features are new, but Steam’s new look makes it easier for you to get to the most useful part of the store page.
“With these changes, our goal is to make your experience smoother and more suitable for your needs,” Steam wrote in his blog post. “We’re always hearing players and experiencing some of the most common areas of steam that are difficult to access.”
We may improve our search capabilities through Steam’s storefront, but are frustrated by recent policy changes in Steam. Earlier this month, Steam used a large number of titles in adult or NSFW content to appease its popular payment processors, such as Visa and MasterCard, leading to criticism of setting a worrying precedent for censorship. Currently, the store page redesign remains part of the Steam Client Beta where you can submit feedback to help shape the final look.
