A week after Dreyer and Fichera’s golf match, she announced her marriage for more than two years.

“I’ve shared my family with you over the years – highs and lows,” she wrote via Instagram earlier this month. “Up or downs. And all the blessings and wonderful memories in between.”

Drell noted that she was “very grateful to her followers for their support and love “through all this.”

“So, I want to share with you the decision that Brian and I decided to separate a few months ago,” she explained. “We started with friends and we will be the closest friends. Most importantly, we will continue to focus with our three amazing boys, and there is nothing else but love and respect for each other. Thank you as always for your support.”

The two first crossed the path and fell in love while working at WHDH in Boston in the early 2000s, Dreyer was an anchor and Fichera was a staff member.

“When he started working more, he would hang out in the weather center with our friend Todd. The three of us started hanging out outside of work more, building our friendship and getting closer,” she wrote on her wedding blog.
