Hostage Forum’s skepticism about Hamas is expected to allow aid to reach hostages
Hamas is ready to provide Red Cross assistance to hostages held in Gaza if Israel opens permanently.
The Hostages and Missing Family Forum was skeptical of Hamas’ response Sunday night, saying terrorist groups would allow the Red Cross to provide assistance to the hostages.
“Hamas’ announcement of his willingness to work with the Red Cross to deliver food to hostages does not hide the fact that we are dealing with an evil terrorist organization that has been putting innocent people in a state of over 660 days without any possibility,” the forum said.
“We demand that all 50 hostages be released immediately. Until Hamas is released, Hamas is obliged to provide them with everything they need. Hamas kidnapped them and they must take care of them. Every hostage that dies will be in the hands of Hamas.”
A terrorist group spokesman said earlier that if Israel permanently opens the humanitarian corridor and stops “all forms of air traffic” during the delivery of packages to hostages, Israel will be prepared to provide Red Cross assistance to hostages held in Gaza.
Hamas issued a statement after the terrorist group and the Palestinian Islamic Jihad, publishing videos showing the hostages being thin. The terrorist group was widely condemned after Evyatar David’s video captured the terrorist’s arm, which contrasted with the captives.

Request for immediate release of hostages
As cited by the forum, the Red Cross visited hostages without a reply throughout the war. Hamas thwarted efforts to give hostages through the Red Cross.
“They may not be able to survive in the next few days,” the forum asserted. “These heartbreaking images reveal hostages, and their kidnappers are fed.”
The forum also stressed that while the transmission of resources through the Red Cross is a “welcome” possibility, “they’ll only be able to release all hostages immediately can truly save their lives.”
