Two people died and six others were injured at a party at the Summer Festival in downtown Los Angeles earlier Monday, police and media reported.
A “big party” closed at a warehouse in the 14th 1100 block at about 11 p.m. Sunday because police saw a person who might have equipped a gun enter the site. She said the person was arrested at the scene.
The party was promoted on social media as an unofficial party for the Tough Summer Festival, a family and technology festival that takes place over the weekend in Hollywood Park next to Sophie Stadium.
The Afterparty post on Instagram lists several DJs who expect to rotate technology and room music during the event.
