Alcalaz leads Spanish Davis Cup squad – Tennis now

Alcaraz, the world’s second-place finisher with a 3-0 Davis Cup singles record, will make his debut since defeating Tallon Griekspoor 7-6, 6-3 in the 2024 quarterfinals last November.

The 22-year-old Spaniard is in 13 consecutive clay wins, winning consecutive clay titles at Roland Garros and Rome. Alcaraz’s last clay field defeat is Denmark’s star Holger runes April 7-6 (6), 6-2 in the Barcelona final in April.
