BPI Capital gains global recognition for outstanding investment banking

The Bank of the Philippines Islands (BPI) further strengthens its position as a leader in institutional banking through its investment banking division, BPI Capital Corp. (BPI Capital), with recent industry acclaim highlighting its commitment to sustainability, innovation and delivering transformative financial solutions.

The bank has received the following industry awards for its leadership and expertise in the execution of several landmark and high-profile transactions:

In 2024, it led five of seven sustainable public offerings, including well-known deals such as Maynilad’s Blue Bonds, Ali’s Sustainability & Sustainability Bonds, and Acen’s Sustainability-related loans, highlighting its at the forefront of green and sustainable financing.

In terms of consulting, the number of transactions in investment firms increased by 67% year-on-year and received 10 required consulting activities, reflecting growth and strong market confidence.

In addition, it has successfully executed numerous award-winning transactions in stocks, debts and M&A transactions and further sets new benchmarks for the Philippines’ investment banking industry excellence.
