It was a piecemeal show of Alcaraz, but he won multiple highlights of Reel after trailing Nardi in the second set and ended his final four games of the season’s 51st victory.

Alcaraz extended his winning streak to 14 games in the Masters event and remained unbeaten against his younger players on the 11-0 tour.

Alcaraz won eight games 4-4, placing the final nails in Nadi’s coffin.

“I think this game is by far the best game for me,” Alkaraz said in an interview on the court. “At the start of the game, I really wanted to get better every day after every practice and every game. I think I’m doing it and I’m very proud of it. I’m very happy with the ball and the way I moved today.”

The 22-year-old is bidding for his sixth ATP title this season, and his first in Cincinnati. He lost the exciting final in 2023 at Novak Djokovic of the Lindner Family Tennis Center, a three-hour and 49-minute game, and Djokovic saved the championship.
