Royal experts provide insights on Harry and Meghan’s new Netflix deal

US Weekly Confirmed on Monday, August 11, the streaming service expanded its partnership with the couple to receive a first-looking deal for many years that expanded to all Archewell Productions’ TV and movie projects.

Sussex representatives told Eden that Harry and Meghan did get payments with the new deal, but details have not been confirmed.
“I won’t say it anymore due to the trade secret contract agreement,” the spokesperson said.

Harry and Meghan signed a monster deal with Netflix in 2020 after being separated from the royal family. Questions about the couple’s ongoing partnership with streaming began to rise last month after multiple reports that they had cut their connections.

The announcement on Monday confirmed that Netflix still plans to work with Meghan and Harry, and also shared plans for the new project.
“We are honored to expand our partnership with Netflix and to expand our work together to include brands,” Meghan shared in a statement earlier this week. “My husband and I were inspired by partners who worked closely with us and our Archewell Productions team to create thoughtful content in a genre that resonates globally and celebrates our shared vision.”
