Barstool Sports Alum Ellie Schnitt chose her dad drama on the phone

Influential people and podcasts Ellie Schnitt New insights are being provided for her brief tenure at Barstool Sports – including working with former friendships Alex Cooper and Sofia Franklin.
“We were actually hired,” Schnitt, 29, said in the “Taylor Taylor Taylor Show” podcast on Friday, August 15, hinting that she chose loyalty in Hatred Fallout. “Yes, I did. … Sofia is so good. Honestly, she is such a good girl [and] Always good to me. ”
Schnitt started working at Barstool at the height of the Call Her Dad podcast, when Cooper, 30, co-hosted the show with Franklyn, 33. The show eventually sparked a major rift between the two hosts after Cooper left Barstool alone on his own on a million-dollar payment method. (Cooper and Franklyn now host their own personal podcast, “Talk Her Father” running under Cooper’s Unwell Network.)
According to Schnitt, Franklin is always “so kind” whenever they cross the path in the bar office.
“When I meet people who have really positive experiences do a great job, it feels really good,” Schnitt explained. “Like, I meet Hannah Berner In 2018 [and] She is a grinder and hardworking person. It feels really good to watch her put into the work and see success from it because there are people I thought: ‘I don’t know if you deserve it. ””

“I’ve never been a person who has a lot of thought about my career,” Schnitt said on Friday. “I’ve never done it before.” [have a life plan]. Of course, part of it is knowing that at some point I’m going to take six months off because I [would need] Kidney transplant. ”
She added: “I accepted it, then [there] It was the moment I thought about, ‘Okay, I can do it. I’m very good at it. I didn’t really stop thinking, of course, when you were 22, you wouldn’t [whether] I like this. Will this make me happy for a long time, or what I did when I was 22? In that moment, you were like, “Of course, it will make me happy forever”, but then you learned a lot of valuable skills, I learned a lot about the industry, I learned myself. ”
According to Schnitt, working at Barstool is usually “a good job”.
“It’s, you’re blown up, you have to figure it out,” she said.
Schnitt eventually left the media company in September 2020.
“I am proud of the work I have done and thanks to my colleagues who have helped me grow over the past two years, but now I do face a new challenge,” she wrote in a social media statement. “Thank you so much to everyone who has heard of ‘Schnitt Talk’, and especially to Alanna for all the work she has done to make the show interesting success.”
