Black Panther Coach solves Nic Scourton’s Dilemma in Practice

Canales, 44, explained that Scourton, 20, was initially diagnosed with fever-related symptoms after a joint practice with the Houston Texan on Thursday, August 14.
“It’s a very physical game,” Canales said of the practice, “because he has difficulty breathing, because he has difficulty breathing because he has exhausted calories,” said an ESPN report released on Saturday, August 16.
He added: “He is tired, it’s all so we kind of calm down, [but] We couldn’t get him to respond well enough that we felt comfortable getting him back to practice. ”
The Canal shared that the NFL player was taken to the Memorial Herman Medical Center in Houston for observation and then determined that Scourton suffered a collapse in his lungs.
Canales explained that Scourton was commemorating Memorial Hermann on Thursday and then returned to Charlotte, North Carolina through the car with his family and an athletic coach. Scourton arrived there on Saturday.
As for when Scourton might return to the football field, Canales explained that it was “with these types of things.”
“I heard from trainers, from different coaches, that one person is playing next week,” Canales said. “So we have to feel smart about it and get you back to Charlotte right away.”
There are currently no further details on the status of Scourton.
In the second round of the 2025 NFL Draft, the Panthers chose Rolls on the Fringe. A few days later, the Panthers tightened Mitchell Evans Communicate his excitement about adding Scourton to the NFL team. (22-year-old Evans was also selected by the Panthers in the 2025 NFL Draft.)
“Man is a certified ballerina. He’s strong, fast, and he already knows everything,” Evans said. “He’s going to be a good teammate and practice every day, but I don’t want to plan for him because it’s hard for us.”
Next month, Scourton celebrated his achievements while sharing a series of photos of himself on the football field. “Next!” he wrote via Instagram in May. “Thank God, thank you @panthers for the opportunity! Jeremiah 29:11!”
Later that month, Scourton shared a series of photos, swaying his new blue and black uniform, adorned with No. 11.
