NTPC launches 3 months of vigilance propaganda campaign before VAW 2025

India’s largest integrated power company, NTPC Ltd., launched a three-month “Warning Consciousness Movement” from August 18 to November 17, 2025.
The event was opened on August 18, 2025 by Rashmita Jha, Chief Vigilance Officer of Scope Complex in New Delhi. The NTPC office’s vigilant officials participated in the program via video conference.
CVO emphasizes the theme “Warning: Our Shared Responsibility” and urges all vigilant supervisors to focus on key areas stipulated by the Central Vigilance Commission, namely, building capabilities through platforms such as Igot Karamyogi, effective asset management and digital programs that enhance transparency based on handling pending complaints and cases.
She stressed that letting all stakeholders (employees, suppliers and the public) involve a wider impact, encouraging creative advocacy through drama, quizzes, videos, jingles and vendor gatherings.
CVO praised the success of last year’s campaign and expressed confidence that this year’s efforts will further promote NTPC’s commitment to integrity and transparency.
NTPC Ltd. is India’s largest integrated power utility, accounting for a quarter of the country’s electricity requirements, with an installation capacity of 83 GW and an additional capacity of 30.90 GW, including 13.3 GW of renewable energy capacity.
