Vanessa Bryant’s birthday pays tribute to Kobe

NBA idol and his 13-year-old daughter Gianna “Gigi” Bryant were brutally killed in a helicopter crash in January 2020 while on the way to Kobe’s Mamba Sports Academy for a basketball game. (Kobe and Vanessa married in 2001 and shared Natalia, Bianka, 22, Bianka, 8, and Capri, 6.
“We love you and Gigi so much,” Vanessa, 43, wrote via Instagram on Saturday, August 23. “Send our love to you. Happy birthday, baby. @kobebryant❤️”
Kobe and Vanessa’s eldest daughter Natalia also wrote on Instagram: “Happy Birthday Dad”, which also respects her father’s memory.
Many family and friends have sent their best wishes, including Kris Jennera retired WNBA player Lisa Leslie and Kimora Lee Simmons. Kobe’s former Los Angeles Lakers teammate PAU GASOL Tag the birthday of the late athlete with his own emotional post.
“Happy birthday, Hermano. I’ve always missed you and love you forever,” he wrote a picture of himself and Kobe on the court.
Vanessa continued to respect the life and legacy of her late husband and daughter Gigi over five years after her death. In May, Vanessa’s Mamba & Mambacita Sports Foundation signed a Gianna Bryant scholarship with the Variety Boys and Girls Club in Boyle Heights, California.
The foundation announced: “Backed by Boyle Heights’ variety show Boys and Girls Club, we have selected outstanding young people who embody Gigi’s Mamba mindset through resilience, commitment to equal opportunities and the ability to inspire others.”
Their statement continues: “For our recipients, you are the representative of Gianna’s vision – to create a world where, regardless of gender, the gender or expectations and expectations we receive from society, have the opportunity to follow our dreams. Send all our love to you and your bright future.”

“Happy birthday to my beautiful girl, Gigi! I love you. I miss you. I am proud of you,” she wrote via Instagram at the time. “2024 is your year. You will graduate from high school and choose which college to go to. (I’ve been working hard to convince you to stay home).”
The working mom has been busy all summer and visited Disneyland with her family in June. Earlier this month, Kobe participated in a Los Angeles Dodgers game where he presented Kobe Bob’s head dolls, plus Vanessa distributed Kobe’s sneakers at a back-to-school event organized by the Mamba & Mambacita Sports Foundation.
Meanwhile, there were rumors earlier this year that Vanessa might be pregnant, although she quickly closed the speculation. Philanthropist shares a meme Rihanna Swim with a snorkeling mask while carrying a drink and flipping the middle finger.
