James Gunn did the right thing to DCEU

Peaceful Season 2 is in progress, but it’s been a while since Season 1 (nearly three years!), so it’s nice to have a lot of reviews in the first season that began the season 2 premiere. Interestingly, the review decided to revisit a critical moment from the end of Season 1: the advent of DCEU Justice League. But, in what initially shocked me, these characters have been replaced by the current DCU Justice gang.

Naturally, this leads to reasons and lament for nerds online about alternative universes and canons and all about things that aren’t interesting to tell stories. I think James Gunn did the right thing at this moment to build the DCU and put the DCEU in the rearview mirror.

Just go

The moment when the DCEU Justice League appeared Peaceful It was an interesting moment, but it was by no means some sacred text. James Gunn’s reorganization in the movie was a bad deal. He has contributed to the process Suicide Squad and the first season Peacefulbut then he obtained the key to the kingdom and ran it in his own way. He must understand the different strategies of DCEU and move forward through his DCU Arts Program.

I appreciate James Gunn and even entertain the DCEU’s retention factor, but it’s clear now that he has paved any lingering topics in these movies. It’s a mindset that needs to move forward with the DCU, because reasonable adults know how to go with the flow. One thing I’m worried about DCU is that it will somehow recognize DCEU’s fan base. Instead, James Gunn knows it with that kind of storytelling audience.

Canon is the enemy

The obsession with Canon and the ability to connect every part of the storytelling universe has become a discourse plague. James Gunn said DCU will adopt a wide variety of films and although they will respect the canons of other films, they will feel different from themselves. I hope the situation ends up being that way, as Canon has become my concern for superhero movies. I want to tell my own story and in a sense, I don’t feel disabling in narrative or stylistic ways.

By pasting thoroughly in DCEU Peaceful Looking back, James Gunn has shown that when the story is more important, he won’t feel some kind of imaginary feeling about Canon’s responsibility. I know that it will become more difficult as DCU goes, but I’m all ignoring Canon when the story benefits. On the Canon side, there are always unbearable footsteps for people, but they always get Wiki Dungeons to crawl back and the rest of us adults enjoy a story is a good story.
