Americans on Ashe

All four games at Arthur Stadium will feature American talent on Monday.

Madison Keys will play the first round against Mexico’s Renata Zarazu, from which Francis Tiafo recaptured the ins rope. Two-time semifinalists fought against Japan’s Yoshihito Nishioka.

The night session will hiss when 45-year-old Venus Williams competes last year’s semifinalist Karolina Muchova, while Reilly Opelka of the bomb service will be the 2022 champion Carlos Alcaraz at Nightcap’s 2022 title.

Armstrong’s Youth Travel

Canada’s Victoria Mboko began her U.S. Open main raffle, a talented 18-year-old who will go to court on Monday in Louis Armstrong.

Mboko won her first WTA title in Montreal earlier this month, facing two-time major champion Barbora Krejcikova. Talk about the fire trial on the Grand Slam stage.

In the final game of the evening, Mirra Andreeva will face the hard-working American Alycia Park. The talented Andreeva has reached the second week of all three Grand Slams so far this season, but she has never encountered a second round in the second round of the two previous appearances in New York.

Peterla’s last stop?

When she faces French woman Diane Parry, everyone’s eyes will be on two-time Wimbledon champion Petra Kvitová and her last tour.

The two will clash in the first game of the day, in the stands starting at 11 a.m.

Kvitova, who has 31 singles champions, has not lost in the first round of Queens since 2011.
