No cashless denial case: Bajaj Allianz after hospital flags are outdated

In a consultation, the Association of Health Care Providers (AHPI), which advocates hospitals throughout India, has asked its member hospitals to no longer provide cashless treatment services to Bajaj Allianz clients on September 1, 2025. The association’s response is that member hospitals’ payment rates are not allowed to be updated for medical expenses.

On Thursday, August 28, 2025, AHPI will meet with executives at Bajaj Allianz General Insurance to address the suspension of cashless treatment services.

The meeting will include members of the core committee of AHPI and senior representatives of Bajaj Allianz after the hospital’s reimbursement rate was controversial.

Given the Healthcare Association’s position, a Bajaj Allianz spokesman told Zee Business: “We have always insisted on a representation that is good for the citizens of the country and there is no inappropriate pressure to put us in trouble; none of our customers will suffer; so far, we have no cases of getting any cash, but even if we have to pay, we can make sure our customers have paid a lot of money, they have paid a lot of money.
