JSW MG motor introduces E20 compliant Hector; check price, additional details
2025 mg Hector launches: JSW MG Motor India announced on Thursday, April 24 that India's first Internet car, Hector, has now obtained E20 fuel (20% ethanol mix) gasoline certification. E20 material compatible Hector will be available in 1.5 L gasoline MT and CVT variants. The company said this step is in line with the Indian government's compliance with the E20 mandate in gasoline-fueled vehicles produced on April 1, 2025.
The company said in its official version that all Hector's gasoline variants rolled off the production line after March 31, 2025, meeting this standard. MG Astor has been E20 compliant since last year, which reinforces the company's unanimous dedication to this green mobility.
“The introduction of E20-compliant versions is not sure about our commitment to innovation and sustainability for everything we do,” said Rakesh Sen, head of sales at JSW MG Motor India.
“Our goal is to provide vehicles that not only meet customers' expectations, but also play a vital role in promoting a greener future of automotive,” he added.
