Jack Draper announced on social media on Monday that he will miss the rest of the 2025 season due to an arm injury. After a singles match, the left-handed pulled out of the U.S. Open due to injury.
“Unfortunately, my arm injury is something I have to rest, which means I’m going to sit for the rest of 2025,” Draper wrote. “I’m having a hard time taking it because I’m building some incredible motivation and playing something great this year.”

The British ranked ninth in the PIF ATP live match but will not be able to push his Nitto ATP final debut. Instead, the 23-year-old will focus on returning to health in a year, in which he won the first ATP Masters championship in India’s Wells.
“I’ve been through it before. And I’m always stronger because I’m very motivated to realize my potential as a player,” Draper wrote. “I’m so grateful to everyone who supports me doing well and supports me on the road. Can’t wait to get back there and go all out. See you as soon as possible!”
Draper has won a 30-9 record this season, including Madrid’s Second Masters final and another championship clash in Doha.
