After becoming Prime Minister of Nepal, Sushila Karki arrives at the hospital and encounters injuries during Z protests
Sushila Karki, after becoming Nepal’s prime minister, visited the hospital during her first public engagement to meet with people injured in ZZ’s turmoil.
Nepal President Ramchandra Paudel dissolved the House of Representatives of the Federal Parliament at the suggestion of newly appointed interim Prime Minister Sushila Karki and announced a new parliamentary election next March 21.
Former Chief Justice Sushila Karki was sworn in as Prime Minister of Nepal’s Interim Government last night, becoming the first woman to lead the country. The swearing-in ceremony comes after the Himalayan nation witnessed deadly violence by Gen-Z protesters over the past few days, sparked by the government’s ban on major social media platforms and anger at corruption.
The fatal conflict claimed several lives and led to the resignation of KP Sharma Oli as Prime Minister of Nepal.
Prime Minister Modi extends their wishes
Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated Nepal’s first woman on Saturday saying India remains firmly committed to peace, stability, progress and prosperity for the people of the neighboring Nepal state.

Appointments for political turmoil
