City companies IPOs may be September 17; here’s what you should know

Urban Company IPO allocation status may be completed today on September 16, 2025. Investors can view their allocation status on the website of BSE, NSE or MUFG Intime India.

Investors who have successfully subscribed can expect the stock to attribute it to their Demat account today, while failed bidders can expect their refunds to be refunded on the same day.

The tentative listing date for BSE and NSE’s listed city companies is September 17, 2025.

IPO details:

Urban Company Ltd’s initial public offering (IPO) received strong reactions from bidders during a three-day bid window from September 10 to 12.

The issuance is 19,000 crore, including a new issue of Rs 4,720 crore and an offer of Rs 1,428 crore (OFS). The price band for the problem is Rs 98 to Rs 103 per share.

According to temporary exchange data, the IPO received a bid of 11,064 million shares with the 1,068 billion shares provided, which is equivalent to 103.6 times the total subscription.

The portion reserved for Qualified Institutional Investors (QIB), Non-Institutional Investors (NIIS) and Retail Individual Investors (RII) were booked 140.2 times, 74 times and 39.3 times, respectively.

How will city companies take advantage of their earnings?

Urban Company intends to use its IPO proceeds to key areas, including the development of new technologies and cloud infrastructure, rental payments for office spaces, marketing activities and general corporate purposes.

Urban Company is an Indian technology market that connects customers with proven professionals to provide a wide range of home and beauty services including cleaning, repair, painting and beauty care.

City companies made profits in fiscal 25 with revenue of Rs 12,6068 crore and net profit of Rs 2,3977 crore. The company operates in 51 cities in India, the UAE and Singapore.
