Denis Shapovalov and Mirjam Bjorklund married in Lesante Cape in Zakynthos, Greece.

The couple announced on social media on Friday that Denis Shapovalov and Mirjam Bjorklund ended their marriage earlier this month, sharing amazing photos of their ceremony. Canada and Bjorklund got married on September 9 at Lesante Cape in Zakynthos, Greece.
“It’s really special,” Shapovalov told Atptour.com. “Every day we have our close friends and family in Zakynthos and have better friends and family than we asked for, and I’m excited to marry my best friend in such an incredible environment.”
The couple began dating in 2019, and Shapovalov proposed to Bjorklund in July 2023. Their wedding overlooks the Ionian Sea and provides a breathtaking backdrop.
“It was really amazing when we chose Lesante Cape for the wedding venue,” said Bjorklund, now Mirjam Shapovalova. “The weather is incredible, every moment is perfect. It’s the most beautiful beginning of our marriage and we’re so glad to spend it with each other.”
According to the Infosys ATP Win/Loss Index, Shapovalov ranks 26th in the PIF ATP rankings with a record of 21-17 seasons. He won his biggest professional title in February at the ATP 500 in Dallas. The 26-year-old won the ATP 250 trophy in Los Cabos in July, but did not put down a set.
