Elise Mertens and Veronika Kudermetova beat Timea Babos and Luisa Stefani 7-6(4), 6-1 in Riyadh on Saturday to claim their second WTA Finals title since 2022.

After winning three consecutive WTA Finals titles with Kristina Mladenovic, Babos returns to the final for the first time, partnering Stefani, the first Brazilian to reach the WTA Finals.
They experienced multiple breaks in the first set and won the tiebreak 7-4, then led 3-0 in the second set and won a double break 5-1.
They won the next game in 1 hour and 39 minutes.
