10 Daniil Medvedev, +1
Medvedev returned to the top 10 for the first time since July last year after reaching the final in Indian Wells. The 30-year-old didn’t drop a set in the title match and defeated Carlos Alcaraz in the semi-finals before Sinner stopped him. The Italian now leads Medvedev 9-7 in the pair’s Lexus ATP Head2Head series and has won nine of their last 10 meetings.
No. 21 Beginner Tien, +6 (career high)
The 20-year-old became the youngest American to reach the quarterfinals at Indian Wells since his coach Michael Chang in 1992. The southpaw saved two match points in a fourth-round win over Alejandro Davidovich Fokina but lost to Sinner in the quarterfinals.
56 Ethan Quinn, +17 (career high)
Like compatriot Tian, Quinn also jumped to a career high. The 22-year-old defeated Marcos Giron in three sets in the final in Phoenix to lift the ATP Challenger trophy. Earlier this season, Quinn reached the third round at the Australian Open.
61 Mariano Navone +18
Navone moved up 18 places in the rankings after winning the ATP Challenger Tour event in Cabo Cana. The Argentinian defeated Alexander Bloks in the semi-finals and Mattia Bellucci in the title match.
