Rafael Jodar and Martin Landaluce are leading the race for the next generation.
Both Spanish stars participated in the Next Generation ATP Finals in Jeddah in December and are keen to compete in the event again in 2026. Jordahl, ranked No. 1 in live events, advanced to the third round at the Miami Open in Itau last week.
The 19-year-old won three ATP Challenger titles in 2025, defeating Yannik Hanfman and Aleksandar Vukic in qualifying before losing to Tomas Martin Echeverry.

Landalus’ performance at Florida State was even more impressive. The 20-year-old arrived in Miami without a tour-level victory in 2026, but he has won four straight main draws, three of them against top-50 opponents. Landalus enters Miami ranked No. 151 in the world, the lowest-ranked quarterfinalist in the event since Jim Grubb, ranked No. 185 in 1994, and the first player born in 2006 or later to advance to the quarterfinals at a Masters 1000 event.
He moved up 10 spots to second place in live competition and is now close to the top 100 in the PIF ATP rankings.
Joao Fonseca, Moise Kume and Rei Sakamoto also triumphed at the ATP Masters 1000 event, marking the first time since Miami in 2007 that all five teenagers have reached the second round at this level.
Fonseca defeated Fabian Marossan before losing to Carlos Alcaraz, while Kuame defeated Zachary Swajda in his Masters 1000 debut. Sakamoto eliminated Alexander Kovacevic but then lost to Daniil Medvedev in three sets.
