Piyush Goyal meets with co-founders and partners of Alpha Wave Global to highlight India's investment potential

Union Minister of Industry and Commerce Piyush Goyal met with Navroz D. Udwadia, co-founder and partner of Alpha Wave Global in London to discuss India’s strong potential as an investment destination.
At the meeting, the minister highlighted India's rapidly growing middle class, strong manufacturing bases and a rapidly expanding digital economy. These factors make India a unique and promising place for global investors, he said.

Alpha Wave Global is a well-known investment company, and the conference focused on how India’s economic growth and policy reforms create new opportunities for international businesses and investors.
Earlier, Minister Goyal also held a joint meeting with Belgian Minister of Defense and Foreign Trade Theo Francken and Flanders Minister Matthias Diependaele. Leaders discussed ways to strengthen the India-Beljim partnership, especially in the areas of trade and investment.
The discussion was described as productive and aimed at deepening bilateral relations between the two countries.
On Friday, in Belgium, India and the EU reiterated their commitment to resolving their ambitious proposed Free Trade Agreement (FTA) (FTA), which is scheduled to be held in New Delhi from 12 to 16 May.
European Trade and Economic Security Council Piyush Goyal and Maros Sefcovic Union Trade Union Ministers met in Brussels and discussed the progress of discussions aimed at addressing global trade challenges and consolidated their determination to achieve this important milestone.
During the meeting, India stressed the importance of equal focus on non-tariff barriers (NTBs) and the importance of tariff negotiations to ensure meaningful progress.
The meeting highlighted the progress made in various negotiations.
Both sides highlighted the urgent need to maintain the current momentum through regular monthly negotiations and ongoing virtual participation.
Union Minister Goyal is currently on tour of the European Three Kingdoms, covering major trading partners. In the UK and Norway, he discussed with his trade and investment peers.
