Former NFL Stars Steve Smith Sr. Prosecuted by his so-called mistress's husband.
The lawsuit against Smith was filed in court in Mecklenberg County, North Carolina, on Monday, April 28, with the widespread takeover of the Carolina Panthers and Baltimore Ravens, filed under the documents. US Weekly Friday, May 2.
plaintiff, Antonio Martinezis prosecuting 45-year-old Smith under North Carolina's “Alienation Emotions Act”, also known as “Homewrecker Law.” It allows the spouse to sue a third party for breaking up and getting married.
Antonio is seeking $100,000 in damages and a jury trial, according to the lawsuit. He also accused Smith of both intentional and negligent emotional distress.
Antonio and his estranged wife Nicole MartinezCourt documents say the court got married in September 2021 and separated at the end of February 2025, and he allegedly found Smith “has been sending messages” Nicole.
At the time, Antonio and Nicole shared a mixed family of six children, including a biological son who lives in Baltimore County, Maryland. Antonio is a retired cop and Nicole has previously performed in The Marching Ravens, the Crows parade band. As for Smith, he serves as a sports analyst for the NFL Network. “Around September 29, 2024, [Smith] Antonio's suit says: “NFL Network hired by NFL Network to shoot an episode for “The most fun job in the NFL with Steve Smith” [Smith] Join the Parade Crows to gain experience in the competition. ”
Smith allegedly met Nicole while filming the episode and “provided his phone number to connect and communicate with each other.” “Then, [Smith] I started to communicate with the plaintiff's wife, called her, and exchanged many text messages with her. This information is usually of nature, including exchange of photos and videos, nude photos including pictures of the defendant's penis and videos of the defendant's masturbation and ejaculation. ”
The lawsuit claims that in January 2025, Smith visited Baltimore to compete in the Ravens' playoff game against the Buffalo Bills. Nicole joined the Barbarians' Marching Ravens that day.
During the game, Smith allegedly slipped his hotel room key into Nicole's property. She later met him in a hotel and the two had sex.
The lawsuit claims Smith and Nicole have been texting each other from October to February 2024 and include excerpts of their intercourse. Nicole once admitted: “I haven’t felt this spark again in years.” Smith called their first hotel room encounter “magic”, telling Nicole, “You’re in such a good body. It’s amazing to kiss you! I wish there was more time because it could get better. Don’t want to be tough, but hope you feel like I feel like I feel you.”
Nicole replied, “I'm glad I'm not the only magic feeling. I feel selfish because I want more time with you. But it feels like a dream.”
According to the lawsuit, Antonio discovered their information after having sex with Nicole, who admitted the incident. He called Smith to face him.
According to the documentation, “Hey, Steve,” he said.
“Yes, sir,” Smith allegedly replied.
“Yes, you've been with my wife, brother,” Steve replied. “Whatcha must say it yourself?”

Smith allegedly apologized to him, and Antonio replied, “You know she's married. … You're not an idiot, man, you're Steve Smith, senior.”
He added: “Everything you do on TV. Everyone will talk to other people. Now someone brings you to your phone and you can't even f *** f *** f *** f .”
Antonio divorced in Baltimore County on February 27. His lawsuit includes a picture of Antonio crying tears on his wedding day, and footage of his baby son in circa 2021.
