Harry and Meghan share family photos from King Charles' drama

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle A new family photo has been released after publicly calling for reconciliation with his father King Charles III.
Meghan shared a black and white photo via Instagram on Saturday, May 3, showing Harry, 40, with the couple's two children (Archie, Archie, born in May 2019) and Lilibet (Aka Lili), born in 2021. Lili sat on her father's shoulder while Prince Archie Archi's hand leaned against the palm tree.
The new family photo was released in the UK’s legal setbacks for another turbulent week for Harry and Meghan, 43, who lost the latest call in a long struggle to restore the UK government-funded security agency, when three judges from the country’s Royal Executive Committee (Rave) dismissed the case.
Harry and Meghan initially resigned from royal duties and lost security details when they moved out of the UK in 2020. Since the Royal couple now live in California, their security measures will be monitored on a case-by-case basis.
A Buckingham Palace spokesman praised the legal results, saying in a statement: “All of these issues have been repeatedly and carefully reviewed by the court, and the same conclusions are drawn every time.”
Harry and Meghan reacted to Friday's disappointing court ruling, insisting they only initiated court struggles to ensure their families have safe access [Harry’s] motherland. ”
“This process only involves ensuring the safety of my time in the UK and the safety of my immediate family so that we can safely access my homeland, while other governments believe that our level of protection is the same as ours,” Harry wrote in a joint statement. “My question is simple: Standard protocols for safety and risk assessments apply to me in the same way as others, including those who have never performed any public functions on behalf of the country.”
In an interview BBC Newsthe Duke of Sussex doubted the possibility of moving his family back to England in view of the court's ruling.
“I can't see a world that brings my wife and children back to England,” he said. “The things they will miss are everything. I love my country. I keep doing it. Even though some people in that country have done what.”
Harry added: “I miss Britain, I miss part of Britain.
The prince then spoke about his tension with his father, Charles III, who was treated after a cancer diagnosis in February 2024.
“I really want to reconcile with my family. It doesn't make sense to continue fighting,” Harry told BBC News. “Life is precious. I don't know how long my father has been.”
Harry admitted to reporters that King Charles “will not be with [him]”After the recent court battle, although he continues to hold hope of “reconciliation” at some stage. The prince said his “many disagreements” over the years would “forgive” his family.
