Zelensky named Ukrainian negotiating team in Istanbul

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky revealed a 12-man plan to negotiate with Türkiye's wartime rival Russia.

The host is Defense Minister Rustem Umerov. According to the decree, no other ministers were assigned to the talks in Istanbul.

All other negotiators reportedly were deputy directors of intelligence services, senior staff and consultants to the head of the president’s office.
