Mel B’s Life on a 15-acre farm in England: “I feel safe”

Brown (known as Mel B) – a 15-acre property located in rural Yorkshire – now has three goats, chickens, ducks and two “large” Rottweilers. She quipped, “I just think sometimes animals are better than humans.”
The former spice girl made sure to bring her 8-year-old “emotional support” Yorkshire Terrier (Cookie) to her new property. “She shakes more than I shakes, so who is supporting who?” Brown joked.

“I make sure my brain has a break and I go to Thailand myself. I don't have a phone call to the farm so my kids or fiancé can't contact me [a different] Field,” she refers to her fiancé Rory McPhee. “I provide space for being able to breathe, feel and sit.”
Brown noted that she is using her voice to help “as many women as possible, especially survivors of abuse” as a patron of charitable women’s aid for domestic violence. (Share Brown in her 2018 memoir Cruel and honestshe tried to commit suicide four years ago. )
Brown told us. “I managed to figure out the path to a quiet place.”
