niti aayog council meeting topic
The theme of this year's conference is “Viksit Rajya for Viksit bharat@2047” (a developed country in India).
According to the official press release, Viksit Rajya’s idea of Viksit Bharat is that states call for “to produce bold, long-term and inclusive visionary documents that align with national priorities, but build on local reality”.
These visions must include time-limiting goals, where countries must leverage their unique geographical and demographic advantages while focusing on areas such as human development, economic growth, sustainability, technology and governance reform.
This year’s Council meeting provides a platform for the centre and state or union territories to consider the development challenges faced by the country and to the basis for how the state becomes the basis for transforming India into a developed country.
