Air India flights in Kolkata for prevention due to cabin temperature

On Sunday, June 29, Air India’s flight from Haneda to Delhi on Japan made precautionary transfers to Kolkata due to unusually high temperatures in the cabin.

According to an Air India spokesman, the AI357 flight landed safely in Kolkata and technical inspections are underway.

The airline regrets the inconvenience caused and thanks the passengers for their understanding.

“Our ground personnel in Kolkata are assisting passengers and providing all the necessary support to minimize the inconvenience caused by this unexpected transfer,” the spokesperson said.

The airline also confirmed that alternative travel arrangements are being made to ensure passengers arrive in Delhi as soon as possible.
