Air India’s flight from the national capital to Kolkata miscarriages after its pilot crew discovered technical problems. The affected flight – AI2403 – returned safely to the bay, with all its passengers disembarking safely with the help of ground personnel.

A spokesman for Air India said the cockpit staff decided to take off in conjunction with the Standard Operating Procedures.

A spokesperson for Tata Group Airlines said: “All passengers have been disembarked and our ground colleagues in Delhi are expanding their support for them.”

Flight rescheduled to return to the same day after safety

Private sector airlines regret the damage and ensuring passenger safety remains a top priority, he said: “At Air India, the safety and well-being of our passengers remain a top priority.”

The incident took place less than six weeks in a tragic crash of Air India encountered in London – the moment after taking off from Ahmedabad. Only one passenger survived, and the horrible plane crash also caused several deaths as the long flight crashed into the building.

Civil Aviation Minister Ram Mohan Naidu said in parliament earlier Monday that the investigation into the Ahmedabad Air Indian aircraft crash will study the facts and stick to the facts, which can only be known once the final report is released.

“We want to investigate through facts. We want to stick to the truth, not what happened to the pilot, Boeing or Air India. We want to find out what exactly happened and we will only know when the final report is placed.”
